AKC NoteDuPont Sontara spunlace nonwoven wipes are used in a range of industrial end uses and some residential applications. The technology is based on a heavy hydroentanglement of a range of fibers (polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, rayon, etc.) prior to a spunlace nonwoven fabric production process that creates the wipes fabric. Jacob Holm is a global producer of spunlace nonwoven fabrics with a U.S. operation in Asheville, NC and its headquarters in Switzerland.
