Last week we featured a professional BBC reporter who out software apps as a tourist. The testing done for this article was far more serious and rigorous--and featured in the British Medical Journal. Here the question was, first and foremost, accuracy for patient safety.
It's a sobering review.

I recently discovered this in my volunteer life with The Voice of Love, the nonprofit I direct pro bono. Our board members are taking turns each week blogging. Amazing. I have learned more about my board members in a few weeks than the last two or three years. (Click here to read.)
Today I share with you a blog by our staff member and Communications Specialist Mónica Giaimo, who works three days for us but continues her life as a freelance interpreter. This blog brought me to tears. It recounts an intensely personal experience that comes to haunt her unexpectedly when she interprets for a mother in an infant room.
