WAMA Book Group
Wednesday, August 6th 11am-1pm
This month the Book Group will be discussing Christopher Maurer's, Fortune's Favorite Child: The Uneasy Life of Walter Anderson, a centennial biography of one of the American South's most prolific and idiosyncratic artists. This book, published originally in 2003 also contains "An Alternate Perspective" by John G. Anderson. Christopher Maurer is also the author of Dreaming In Clay on the Coast of Mississippi: Love and Art at Shearwater. Copies of both books are available in the museum gift shop and at local libraries. Please bring a lunch if you wish. Drinks will be provided. This event is free to members and $10 for non-members.
