A Few Words from Regina...
I love the work that I get to do with my organizing and productivity clients. When they call to schedule a session, they are ready and eager to roll up their sleeves to tackle the clutter that makes their lives feel chaotic. They make the easy, and also the difficult, decisions about the things that no longer serve them or have value. Instead, they want to now surround themselves with items and artifacts that are relevant to their lives today.
While decision-making is one aspect of the hard work of de-cluttering, the other aspect is maintaining cleared spaces. Some people feel they have no time to keep things up once they've de-cluttered, and some spend their time being of service to others and ignore service to self.
So for all of you busy folks, the doers and the procrastinators, students and people with ADHD, this week's
TOP 10 List is for you - a few reminders to keep you on task, on time, and on IT!
Happy April!

Top 10 Tips: A Time Management Tip For Everyone
|
 The Busy Bee
Learn to say 'no' and delegate tasks as needed. You need not do everything. Have faith in others to carry out tasks. Don't feel obligated to always say 'yes,' which leads to an overbooked schedule.
The person who's always late
When the first alarm sounds, stop whatever you're doing and jot a quick sentence or two on a sticky note indicating where you left off. Try to be out the door before the second alarm sounds.
Procrastinators
Just start! Sometimes it's difficult to find motivation. Start with just one task as opposed to looking at the entire project.
The Office Worker
Divide tasks into 90-minute intervals and rest after each one. Working extended periods of time will tire you out and hinder your performance.
Those with ADD/ADHD
Create a very short daily To-Do list. Take baby steps to begin routines and good habits to help yourself (walking or going to the gym 2-3 times/week, grocery shopping with a list, etc.)
