Time to make plans to attend the finest boat show on the gulf coast in Gulfport, Mississippi. The show will be April 3 thru April 6th, 2014 at the Jones Park City Marina. The Island Packet 27 features the highly successful Island Packet design concept that combines a modern full keel with handsome traditional styling, a versatile, easily managed rig, and an unusually spacious interior. The moderate draft full keel or optional shoal keel with centerboard give the IP27 capability for bluewater passages as well as exploring shallow coastal waters.
"Reprieve" is a later model 27 sloop with new reverse cycle heat and air, new E-7 Raymarine Chart System, autopilot, propane stove and many more conveniences. The new book" First Time Across", written by Dauphin Island, AL resident, and Turner Marine yacht broker, Captain James F. Cash was released mid December 2013. First Time Across is the true story of Captain Cash's epic voyage aboard his 35' sailing catamaran Kat Atomic, from Durban, South Africa, across the Atlantic, through the Caribbean and Panama Canal to Marina del Rey, CA.
