Meditation is truly a treat, not a chore, and a beautiful time to plug into the Universal consciousness while disconnecting from the material world around you for a moment. Leave all the coulds and shoulds behind and give yourself the gift of simply being. Magically, unanticipated nuances will occur leaving you to wonder how they ever came about.
I make a habit of meditating not because I have to, but because it is one of many acts of self care that allows a better version of myself to surface. Self care benefits everyone around me.
