And, since working with David Neagle, my vision has been to help you realize you can actually make great money doing it. It just takes working through the steps required to make it happen. The steps appear. You just need someone to show you the way.
Most highly successful people didn't get there on their own and they'll tell you that they don't know of others who did either. They always had a mentor or a coach or someone to show them the way.
So, how do you know when is the right time to do that and who to get?
If you haven't gotten the success you desire yet and your business is not growing as rapidly as you'd like, you need help.
But. what kind of help do you need?
If you have the vision, the big picture, and you keep your mood and actions focused in the right direction, then you might need someone to help you with getting bigger, like help with marketing, copywriting, SEO, getting things done, organization, etc. You will know that this is you if you are already having success and you just don't have time to do it all or you don't know how to do certain things or implement them in your business. But, you're already having success-at least moderately.
And, even then, you have to ask yourself, is it because of things you don't know or don't do efficiently or is there some block that you have to even greater success? Everyone has a set point for success. It can be changed, but it takes work to get through it and establish a different set point. Can you imagine earning $300,000/yr? $1,000,000/yr? $80,000/yr? How you react to each number gives you an idea of your set point. What is it? What would you like it to be?
If you think that the thing you need is marketing, systems, SEO, etc., give it some thought first.
Really, none of those things are required to be successful. All you need is a telephone or to get out in person or to events and talk to people. If you know what you offer, the value of it and you can convey that to people, then you can be successful. Those other things help. They enhance your business if you're already doing okay.
And, what is mindset? It has to do with how you approach your business and your clients and prospects and also how you show up in life. It's related to your beliefs and anything that could hold you back. It's confidence or it's self-doubt. It's security or it's fear. It's determination and persistence or it's vacillation and giving up. It's the difference between getting the sale and not getting it.
A recent client was surprised that I also help with the big picture of how to put yourself out there, how to put packages together and how to get better at sales. Some things I am not are a copywriter, a marketing specialist, an SEO specialist, a web designer. But, I do love to see the big picture and then look at the details that pull it all together; see what's needed so you can get great results. I've always loved problem-solving and many of my answers and ideas just come to me. Also, I am great at being a meter for whether you are really being true to yourself and your desires and asking you the right questions to get you there.
My area that I work in is fine-tuning and up-leveling those of you who are already having success and you want to see what's keeping you from the bigger vision you hold. Or, you have lost some of your excitement and you want to get it back (that means you've got to stretch again so you can be excited with your work).
Remember. if you're in a program with another coach and not getting the results you desire, you need something else to make it work. The information might be great but it's not going to help you if it's not addressing the cause of the problem that you're experiencing?
You need to become the person that has the success you desire.
A Successful Mindset has to come first before any of those other things can get you the great results you desire.
