Newburgh News and Upcoming Events

Hello Everyone,
What a great idea! On Tuesday, December 2, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give on "Giving Tuesday."
We ask that you consider a donation or a membership/sponsorship in Historic Newburgh, Inc. The activities and events we do are a catalyst for business success. Business success means jobs and prosperity. I hope you see in this newsletter that we do well and that we spend your money wisely and frugally.
If you are planning to shop in Downtown Newburgh on Dec 6 or 7, how about becoming part of the show. We are looking for people to dress in 1880's costumes and just hang out. It is great fun, as we turn back the clock to the 1800's. Characters, carolers and musicians for Newburgh Celebrates Christmas are still needed. Give us a call at 812-853-2815.
November 22 is Silverbell Saturday with many holiday specials and this is the date when the streets will be decorated for the Holidays. Listen for the Preservation Hall bell as it tolls every hour during the weekend.
Then November 28th is Black Friday and the 29th is Small Business Saturday in Downtown Newburgh. Bring back a slower paced way to shop for Christmas.
Remember we need a 12 - 18 ft Christmas tree for the riverfront. Please call the office if you can help out.
