Trivia
Trivia Answer
Anyone who has ever attended a home game at the "Madhouse on Madison" understands the term "Cheer the Anthem," when did this tradition begin?
BONUS: What year did they go from being the Black Hawks to the Blackhawks and why?
ANSWER: "Cheering the Anthem" began during the 1985 playoffs vs. Edmonton Oilers.
BONUS: The Blackhawks were named after the original owner Frederic McLaughlin's World War I Infantry Division and were known as the "Black Hawks." However, prior to the 1986-87 season someone discovered the team's original NHL contract, and found that the name "Blackhawks" was printed as a compound word. The name officially became "Chicago Blackhawks" from that point on.

Chris McKie, Fortinet
"None of us is as good as all of us." This quote, attributed to Ray Kroc, co-founder of McDonald's, is echoed in many management and leadership success stories. And today, it embodies our efforts to stop cybercrime. CIOs Should Push Big Data Projects but Prioritize Privacy
By Thor Olavsrud - June 2, 2014 - CIO.com

Last month, the White House released its 90-day review of big data and privacy, renewing the call for a Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights along with a number of other policy recommendations.
With the administration and legislators (and regulatory bodies like the Federal Trade Commission) now considering issues of data collection and privacy, how should CIOs advise their organizations about going forward with big data initiatives?
"My advice is people should move very, very aggressively into this area of big data," says Lanny Cohen, global CTO of technology consulting firm Capgemini. "I think, at the end of the day, this is going to become one of the biggest sources of competitive advantage that an enterprise can have. Those enterprises that really have, as a core competency, the ability to gather data, analyze it and act on it are going to have a major advantage." Read more...
