Internet Explorer is by far one of the most widely used browser in the world. Primarily because when we un-box a new computer, it's already there for immediate use. But with it may sometimes come some common problems. For example having more toolbars that you desire or require, and not being able to uninstall them.

The browser does not go to the website you want it to go. You type a web name, press Enter. Your searches don't look normal. You are being redirected to another search provider. The home page changes without our knowledge. Install applications such as Java, adobe flash to ensure maximum use of Internet Explorer.  If you run into these issues here is a guide on how you can fix them.

Your First 90 Days with a Customer Will Make or *Break* Your Relationship

I remember when dating guides started taking a darker tone in the late 90s. First, there was "The Rules" to help desperate women boost their allure to men. Then there were the slew of tomes from self-proclaimed male 'pick-up artists' designed to seduce ladies using controversial techniques such as the "neg." Reading these, you'd get the unfortunate impression that dating is all verbal warfare, disguised feelings - and heartbreak.

 

Fortunately, no one's arguing that building good customer relationships has to require the same sort of trickery. Most experts agree that it's all about open communication, and treating your customers right - not 'negging' them.  

 

I didn't say good customer relationships are easy, to build, however. First impressions count. With customers, the first 90 days are crucial to setting the tone. But if the relationship starts off right, that positive vibe can carry over for years or even decades.

No doubt, security would become a lot easier if every malicious IP client came with its own red flag. But, as with most things in life, it's almost never quick that easy.

That said, there are a few ways to identify suspicious behavior before the onset of Advanced Persistent Threats or other malicious exploits.

Unitrends announced that it's Free Edition of Unitrends Enterprise Backup™ now support the free (also called unlicensed) version of VMware's vSphere hypervisor (also called ESXi). How did we do that when VMware doesn't allow the use of VADP (Vmware API for Data Protection) in the Free vSphere hypervisor?

We didn't break any laws of physics - nor any other laws of man or nature - we simply extended our licensing such that a limited set of VMs would be supported at the GOS (Guest Operating System) level. Because Unitrends support data protection at both the HOS (Host Operating System) level as well as the GOS level, it was straightforward to make this happen. It's actually no different than many of our customers who use our products to protect 100% virtual environments with granular combinations of HOS- and GOS-level protection or those that have mixed physical and virtual environments who of course use HOS- and GOS-level protection (obvious because in the physical world there is only GOS-level protection.)
