Jewish Family Service is launching its 2015 Lunchbox Express program to provide lunches to low-income children all summer long. In addition to nourishing the bodies of the children, you can help nourish their minds by donating gently used children's books, suitable for children ages 3-13. Bring books to the JFS office inside the Boulder JCC before June 6th or to the JFS booth at the Boulder Jewish Festival on June 7th. Boulder Jewish Family Service is looking for compassionate, sensitive people to establish relationships with older adults. Visits can take place during the week or on weekends. We ask for a commitment of one or two hours a week, for a minimum of six months. Currently, we have people in Boulder, Louisville and Lafayette, who are waiting for such wonderful volunteers!

Jewish Together - Boulder, a collaboration between 30 Jewish organizations and synagogues in Boulder, including Har HaShem, has just launched two new life cycle compilation guides. One guide is for b'nai mitzvah resources in Boulder including tips on planning an environmentally responsible event, venues and a bit of learning. Our teen resource guide focuses on local opportunities to connect with other Jewish teens, national and international Jewish programs of interest, and information on local camps. JEWISHcolorado is pleased to initiate a three-year pilot project to bring
PJ Library back to the greater Denver/Boulder community. PJ Library mails free, high-quality Jewish children's literature and music to families across the continent on a monthly basis. There is funding for 1,500 families in the Boulder/Denver area for families with children ages 6 months to 5.5 years, so
please register ASAP. A waiting list will be created for additional families.
