New Adult Conference & Educators Forum
Even from our earliest days, the MDSC has recognized the importance of bringing people together to learn from experts in the field and from each other.

The parents who founded the MDSC as a grassroots organization three decades ago immediately launched our annual conference. And with tremendous growth over the years, we've continued to expand our array of workshops and conferences to share best practices on the full array of subjects related to Down syndrome.

This year, our two Fall conferences - including our 1st ever "Adult Conference" - continue in that tradition, offering the latest information and resources from the region's and country's leading experts to serve all our members.

On October 24, we are excited to launch a brand new conference, our first ever Adult Conference, titled "Growing up with Down Syndrome: Living a Longer, Healthier and Meaningful Life." Held in collaboration with the Massachusetts General Hospital Down Syndrome Program, it will be tailored just for adults with Down syndrome ages 22 and up, their family members and direct support providers.

Then, on November 18, we hold our annual Educators Forum (for Supporting Students with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities). Now in its 11th year, our Educators Forum just keeps getting stronger. This year's powerful theme is "We Are All in This Together - Collaborating to Create Inclusive Schools." (See below for more information).

Registration for both these events will open soon.
