Day of the girl pgh
October 11, 2013

Day of the Girl Pittsburgh is part of the International Day of the Girl movement. October 11 was declared by the United Nations as International Day of the Girl Child, to recognize girls' rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world.  DOTG Pittsburgh celebrates the power of girls and elevates the conversation around their strengths, identifies challenges and opportunities, squashes stereotypes, and works towards a solution together.

The 2nd Annual Day of the Girl is just around the corner!  We want you to help us celebrate in all different ways.  From the online Virtual Summit, to the 11 days of action, to participating on our social networking sites - there are a variety of ways you can get involved leading up to October 11!
