Dear ,

We have been busy prepping, organizing, and getting excited for our Fifth Annual Girls Coalition Conference: Girls Can Change the World!
It's hard to believe that it has been FIVE years since our first conference which brought together professionals, organizations, and individuals who work with or advocate for girls from throughout our region.  While many things have changed over the years, one thing remains the same - our dedication to empowering girls to work for equity and opportunity in every facet of life.

If you are an individual or part of an organization that is also dedicated to girl empowerment, we hope you will join us.  Join us as a member, join in the conversation on Twitter (GirlsSWPA) and Facebook, and join us as we work towards a more equitable society for girls throughout our region and beyond.

Sincerely,
Heather Mediate, Program Director

BLOSSOM AND FLOURISH - Summer Leadership Camps

Do you consider yourself a leader? It's been proven that while IQ and technical skills are important, leadership ability and emotional intelligence are the real secrets to success.  That's why Blossom & Flourish, a leadership training and confidence building program for
middle school and high school girls, is dedicated to helping young women see themselves as leaders capable of positively influencing others and making a difference in their world.

Join in this summer at one of five week-long, summer day-camps. Campers will explore many questions together, including:  What does it mean to be a leader? What is my leadership style? What are my unique strengths? How can I work with people who are different than me? What does it mean to have R.E.A.L. relationships? What does success really look like? How should I make decisions? How can I better manage my time?
