HOT OFF THE GRILL

Gayle's Sweet 'N' Sassy Newsletter

Dear (Contact First Name),

Spring is here and that calls for some Egg-Citement!

Most people think of Easter Sunday as a time to gather with family and friends indoors around a fancy table. But if you love being outside, especially on a beautiful spring day, why not consider something a little different like an Easter Barbecue.

This is the perfect time to fire up your grill and make a great meal. Remember that anything you can roast in your oven can be cooked outdoors for more flavor and more fun. Make it fun this Easter by having a Gayle's Sweet'N'Sassy barbecue for the adults and a sweet Easter egg hunt for the kids.

This recipe should please everyone. For the small kids, just throw on some hot dogs when you are cooking the steaks. If you are on a budget, serve grilled hamburgers instead of the steak.

Passover begins on the evening of Monday, April 14, 2014 at nightfall, and ends after nightfall on the evening of Tuesday, April 22, 2014.  The first seder 2014 will be Monday night, April 14, 2014, and the second seder will be Tuesday night, April 15, 2014.

We have a special extra Sweet'N'Sassy Passover Brisket recipe that you can make or bring to your seder.

PASSOVER BRISKET

Ingredients:

About 8 pounds of brisket.

One bottle of Gayle's Barbecue Sauce

Directions:

Pour Gayle's Barbecue Sauce over the meat.

Turn the meat over to adequately coat both sides.

Cover the meat tightly with aluminum foil. Stick the pan into the fridge for at least 12 hours-24 hours is better.

When you're ready to cook it, stick the pan directly into a 275-degree oven. Keep it tightly covered in foil.

Just walk away for about 7 hours and enjoy your day.

When meat is done, remove from oven and place on a cutting board and slice against the grain. Serve with your Passover noodle kugel and enjoy!

Set a beautiful table...
Passover is all about the table. Perhaps no other holiday is so centered on food and how it's presented: the seder plate, the matzoh cover, Elijah's cup. But this year, alongside the traditional symbolic items, why not pull out all the stops with a unique table look that sets a festive scene?
