NAMI Prince Georges's County is offering its NAMI Homefront Education Program for six consecutive weeks from April 6-May 11, 2016.  The class will be held on Wednesdays form 7:00pm to 9:30pm at the NAMI Prince George's County office in New Carrollton, MD.

NAMI Homefront is a free, six-session education program for family, friends and significant others of military service members and veterants with mental health conditions.
ADVOCATES GATHER IN ANNAPOLIS FOR
2016 ADVOCACY DAY 


On February 25, 2016, NAMI Maryland held our annual Advocacy Day in Annapolis. Advocacy Day is our opportunity to gather and celebrate recovery, honor those who are living with mental illness, combat stigma, and promote awareness and advocate for others. Almost 100 NAMI Maryland members and supporters traveled to Annapolis to meet with their elected officials.

NAMI MARYLAND STAFF!

NAMI Maryland is very excited to welcome on board the newest member to our family, Jessica Wong.  Jessica joined the NAMI Maryland staff in February as the Programs and Trainings Coordinator. She will lead the coordination of statewide and regional trainings for individuals to deliver NAMI Programs at the grassroots level. Jessica will work with NAMI Maryland staff and local affiliate and programs leaders on program planning and outreach. She is thrilled to join the NAMI Maryland team and is looking forward to working closely with each affiliate.

 Co-Director of the Job Accommodation Network's (JAN), the premier national resource for free, expert and confidential guidance on workplace accommodations and disability employment. Lou's presentations are informed by 25 years in the field of disability employment.
