Surveys
We Need Your Help to Avoid another Government Shutdown
During the next two weeks, APPL will be talking to Congress about the terrible, negative impact of a government shutdown on nonprofit public lands partners, your local communities and your local economies. We ask all nonprofit partners to please complete this brief survey by Friday, September 18 so that we can make the strongest case possible to the Hill.

APPL Members: we are planning an informational briefing on the potential shutdown and the resources we have available to you. Please look for an email invitation from us for a conference call on Tuesday, September 22nd.
Build a Valuable Resource for the Public Lands Community
We invite nonprofit public land partner organizations to participate in our national wage survey which looks at wages for executive directors, salaried positions, lower-level managers and hourly positions. Individual survey data will be kept confidential and organization names will not be used in the report. All participants will receive a brief executive summary of the survey (APPL members will have access to the full survey report).

Federal employees can support APPL through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) with a pledge to #12051 this fall.

Contributions help us strengthen public land partnerships by providing training and resources to the growing network of nonprofits working to build awareness and appreciation for America's treasured natural and cultural heritage.

APPL participates in the CFC as a member of the Conservation and Preservation Charities of America, a federation of America's top organizations working to protect and restore the Earth's natural environment and historic treasures. APPL is a proud recipient of the Independent Charities of America Seal of Excellence for quality administration and program activity. If you have questions about donating to APPL through the CFC, contact your campaign coordinator or visit www.opm.gov/cfc. Thank you!
