I'm Toni Carmean, offering counseling in Beaverton, Oregon. I have a decade of experience helping people cope with difficult experiences. My clients include people experiencing sadness over the loss of a loved one, survivors of abuse who may also be suffering from ambivalent loss due to the death of an abuser. I specialize primarily in thanatology - the study of death, dying and bereavement. I help people as they go through the process of grief and loss. I also work with people diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Thank you

Greetings!

Our Online Holiday Auction is OPEN! New items will be added daily as they come in until we close it out on December 10th. This is a great way to preview our live auction which happens at the Annual Meeting on December 13th. Please be sure and get your reservations in as soon as possible for our Annual Meeting, Awards Recognition and Auction. Use the index on the left and click on Networking & Referrals to get all the details and the links to register online.

I attended another City of Beaverton Space Needs work sessions this week. I'm pleased to report that the city-owned property around our library, including the park & fountain, Community Center, and Farmers Market area has been removed from consideration for either a Civic Center (all inclusive city services building(s)) and/or Police Safety Center. It also appears that the Westgate property will also be removed as it is clearly not the highest and best use for our downtown area and it does not fit with our community vision for the downtown core. That leaves the Griffith Drive property (where the current city hall sits) for study and consideration. Look to the first of the new year for a final decision by your City Council.

Finish your week strong & productively!

Our Business Advocacy Council focuses on issues that directly impact businesses that most owners/managers do not have time to stay on top of but count on the Chamber to do so and be their voice.
