Massengill Middle East Minute Newsletter
Almost Home
Leandra's Corner

Hello again. I am so excited we only have about 7 more weeks before going back to the UAE. I miss my friends there & my turtle, Jerry. He has grown so much since we left. Since the last newsletter, I have got to speak in a few more children's churches. It is nice to get to share what our life is like in the Middle East... just like daddy! Do pray for me because I am getting really tired of always saying goodbye to people. We meet really nice people & then just have to say goodbye. It stinks!

What's up? Things are great with me. I had a wonderful Easter & found almost twice as many eggs as Leandra... especially the ones with the money in them. I also look forward to going back home to the UAE. As soon as I get back, I will be getting baptized. I am a little worried about it but not too bad. I am tired of being in a car & look forward to finally spending some time on a plane... Daddy says at least in a car we can stop and get out anytime we want but of course he is bigger than I am.
March-April 2015

Greetings from north Florida! Our family would like to welcome those of you who are new to our newsletter. We are now in the sunshine state, but in a couple of months we will finally be back in the sunshine of the Middle East. While it has been nice being in the US to see the beautiful colors of spring, we are anxious to head back home to Sharjah, UAE. Please pray that over the next 7 weeks, we will be able to raise all the support needed for a long extended stay on the field.
Jesus is the Reason
Our Motivation

If you ask almost any career missionary about the most difficult aspect of the calling, most would tell you it is fundraising. I will admit, it does drain the body, soul & mind, but it can also be a tremendous blessing. In March, we spent most of the month in Texas & Oklahoma, before returning to Alabama. The churches in all of these states blessed us so much & really made us feel like family.

Of course earlier this month we celebrated the death & resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is the reason we are missionaries in the first place. There are many motivations for missions but none greater than Jesus Himself. Considering what He did for us, nothing is too much for Him.

In our remaining schedule we have churches in Florida, Georgia, Alabama & Tennessee. Of course, we were not able to book every church that supports us & hope to make it to those we missed this time during our next itineration period. Here is our schedule:

Faith Promise Commitments

As we have traveled visiting churches, we have often been asked about the Church of God World Missions Faith Promise. Many people have filled out faith promise forms & used their credit or debit cards to have their donation taken out automatically every month. However, many people have been surprised that after a year, this automatic deduction stops. If you have filled out a faith promise form with a credit or debit card & want your contribution to continue after a year, you need to contact Church of God World Missions to renew the contribution for another year. You can contact COGWM accounting at (800) 535-9343. Also remember that any donation sent individually to COGWM must include our project number 065-0069. Thank you so much for supporting the task of bringing the gospel to the Middle East.

We are so thankful to every person & every church that supports our ministry in the Middle East through faithful prayer & giving. The task of bringing the gospel to the those who have never heard it is a burden the whole church must share together. By working together with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, there is nothing impossible for those in Christ. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Great & Only Commission.

In His Service,
