Greetings from north Florida... boy we miss being able to say the Middle East. We have now been in the US for about 6 weeks and our time of fundraising is well underway. We have visited 6 churches, and will soon be headed to southern Florida. From there we will head back to Alabama before heading off to Texas and Oklahoma. Please keep us in prayer as we travel, and also please be in prayer for our speaking schedule. We still have several dates open that we need to fill.  Finally, keep our budget in prayer as well. During the months of November and December, our budget dropped significantly. As we shared before, we have only 5 1/2 months to raise the funds needed. We must return to the UAE no later than June 1 in order to retain our visa there. If we do not raise enough funds before then, we will need to fly back to the UAE for a week or so, then return to the US for another 5 1/2 months. We REALLY do not want to have to do that, so please pray we raise all the funds needed to send us back to the Middle East for at least 2-3 years.

Daddy said since we are now in the US, he will let us have a whole block instead of our usual corner. Things have been nuts since we have been back in the US. It has rained almost everyday, which is weird since in the UAE it almost never rains. I had a great Christmas and New Year. I had hoped it would snow, but not much of that in Alabama in December. We have already visited some cool churches. One thing that's been hard for me is that I am REALLY homesick... for the UAE. I love America and getting to see my grandparents but I miss our life in the Middle East. Daddy says when God places a people in your heart, you never really feel right until you are with those people. He is right. My heart is there and even though I will really miss my grandparents when we leave, I know that is where we belong. I might only be 9 years old, but I understand enough about God to know this is because of Him and the calling our family has to bring the gospel to the people of the Middle East. Pray for me because it is hard to be caught between 2 places I love so much.

 

What's Up??? Well this has been a great time for me because very early Saturday morning, I got saved. I asked Jesus to come live in my heart.  It happened just after midnight. Daddy and mommy were talking about Jesus and I knew it was my time. I know I am only 7 years old and there are many things I do not understand, but I do know Jesus died for me and I do know I want to live my life for Him. Tonight Daddy and Mommy bought a cake to celebrate. Daddy says now his life can focus on the people of the Middle East. He said the most important people in his life are now saved, which is the only thing he asked God for in return for his service as a missionary... that his children be saved. I am a little afraid of water and being baptized, so please pray for me about that. Also Leandra and I both want to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. I have heard Daddy preach many times that the Holy Spirit makes missions possible, and I want to share Jesus with everyone I can. I am shy... really shy, and need the Holy Spirit's help so I can tell people about him. Daddy says the Holy Spirit can help shy people not be shy so they can tell the world about Jesus. That is what I would like.
