"I Thank You" now available for download through iTunes Single Commemorates 100th Anniversary of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Canada

The Tenors, Canada's JUNO Award-winning vocal super group, have joined forces with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America spokesperson Laura Kaeppeler to launch a new single titled,'I Thank You'. The song, which also commemorates the 100th anniversary of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, is now available for download worldwide through iTunes with proceeds contributed to assist in the ongoing development and support of mentoring services to children and young people.

Conceived by Kenny Munshaw and co-written with Marc Jordan and The Tenors, 'I Thank You' speaks to the impact that caring mentors play in the lives of young people. 'I Thank You' was recorded by The Tenors and Miss Kaeppeler. The single was recorded in London, England and produced by Grammy nominated producer and songwriter Sacha Skarbek (Adele, Jason Mraz, James Blunt) who co-wrote the #1 Billboard Hot 100 single "Wrecking Ball" with Miley Cyrus.

"We are delighted to benefit from the talent of people like The Tenors and Laura Kaeppeler and know that their music will bring the cause of mentoring to millions of people in an entirely new way," stated Bruce MacDonald, President & CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada. "This song reflects the experiences of so many young people - having seen their own lives positively impacted and wanting to find a way to express their appreciation."

In a joint statement, The Tenors and Miss Kaeppeler stated, "We are honoured to be associated with a cause that has benefitted so many children and youth and hope that our efforts to bring attention and raise funds will result in a greater number of children receiving support."

The production of 'I Thank You' has been a shining example of selflessness. Support for the production has come from Scotiabank, and we are grateful for their continuing support of Big Brother Big Sisters, and how they have stepped up to make this song possible. The Tenors and Miss Kaeppeler have waived fees and corporate supporters such as Scotiabank, The Keg Restaurants, Cineplex Odeon and WestJet have agreed to promote the song.
