Go back to school and help a child go forward
The month of September and back to school season has arrived, and with it Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies are getting ready for another year of the In School Mentoring program in our communities across Canada.
The In School Mentoring program provides girls and boys with a role model and a friend to talk to and share the experiences of growing up, within school grounds. For one hour a week during the school year, In School Mentors meet with a child who is in need of a little guidance, and engage in fun activities such as board games and crafts. It is simply about making a child feel special while having fun!
Check out our In School Mentoring program video to see how just one hour per week can make a Big change in the life of child.
