RNtoBSN: Financial Aid Resources for Nursing Students
In response to the Institute of Medicine's (IOM) call for "the proportion of nurses with baccalaureate degrees [to] be increased to 80 percent by 2020," a recently launched project, RNtoBSN.org has made it their mission to help both current and prospective nurses obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
In pursuit of their bachelor's, every nursing student will be financially challenged. RNtoBSN strives to meet these challenges by connecting nursing students with financial aid opportunities that can alleviate these costs. In addition to general federal aid and grant information, they offer a searchable database of nearly 10,000 nursing specific and general scholarships that students can filter and sort to fit their situation.
