Vote for NHGSA to win a $500 donation from Sanford's Community Commitment program.
Sanford's Community Commitment will be giving away $500 each month to Southern New Hampshire's Non-Profit Organizations.  Sanford is supported by Southern New Hampshire and feel it is important to give back to those communities in any way possible. They are aware of the role our non-profits play in the lives of our citizens and are delighted to be able to offer assistance.

NHGSA appreciates your nomination. To vote visit:  http://sanfordtemp.com/new-hampshire/community-involvement/

Greetings!

Brrrrr! WOW it's cold. Funny, my big rugged dog won't go out for more than a second and my little 10 pounder won't come in. Go figure. The cat desperately wants to go out hunting. He runs to the door, talking up a storm whenever he sees someone headed that way until you open the door and he gets that blast of cold air. One of these days his emergency brakes are going to fail and he's going to end up sliding out into the snowbank (tee hee).

Naomi just let me know that the Orientation for the Farm & Forest Expo has been scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 7, 11am. If you are volunteering at the Expo, please plan on attending. You can sign up online. If you have any questions/concerns, you can reach Naomi (who is the GSA coordinator for the expo) at specialops@nhgsa.com.

Moe D sent me an interesting 'Did you know' email this week.  If you click on a flight number on the flight schedule on MHT's website, www.flymanchester.com you can view the plane's location & flight information via Flight Aware, a live flight tracking service.

Your year-end volunteer service hours have been entered and are posted online within the calendar system. After you login, go to "My Service History" to view. Click on 2012 to see dates recorded. If you then click on a date, you can see the volunteer location. Service hours do not include gatherings, trainings, tours and orientations. I am working on NHGSA's year-end report now, please let me know if there are any adjustments that need to be made. FYI: Service hours for the 2013 AMBIE Awards will include all  service hours volunteered through March 2013.
