Greetings!

Found this neat report.
I thought I had such a head start on the holidays this year. I planned my gatherings early, tree was up early (earlier than normal), cards purchased early, shopping started early. I think all that 'early' did was give me a false sense of security that it was all under control and I got complacent and stopped. It just occurred to me that I have 9 days until my family arrives to celebrate with us. I haven't started my cards and this weekend is it for time available to shop for gifts - Yikes! I have to thank Judi for rescuing me and picking up a gift card in Manchester for my mother. Our friends at Couptopia.com had a great deal on some jewelry classes on Hanover Street I thought my mother would enjoy. Then Judi and Charlene helped me pick out a local restaurant so she and a friend could have lunch afterwards. That's one checked off my list! Phew.

Looking for some event hours to boost your holiday spirit? There are many shifts open this Saturday at The Bridges Holiday House. The event closes on Sunday.

**Don't forget that if you accumulate 12 event hours plus 50 center hours within a 12 month period you can go to Indian Head Resort in Lincoln for 2 days (meals included). The only caveat is that you have to wave to me as you pass Exit 29! Details on this offer are on the Perks page.

EDUCATIONAL TOURS  & ACTIVITIES

(Starred items count towards your annual 4.)

Special Events & Activities Manager

This was my first big gathering of Granite State Ambassadors, and I had a fabulous time. The warmth and friendliness that you all share was better than the eggnog, and it made for a fun afternoon.

Our hosts at the Inn at East Hill Farm put out an amazing spread of home-cooked food and had a great lineup of activities planned. East Hill Farm is a working, educational farm that exists to support the Inn and give us city folk a chance to experience farm life. A lot of the food served at the Inn is grown right on the farm, including the meats, eggs and dairy.

The festivities began with an array of locally sourced hors d'ouevres (mmm fried chicken) and continued with a "choose your own adventure" style of party.
