Only five more days until Mini-Courses begin. Yay! We still need your help in getting a few of our amazing offerings squared away. Please consider donating or loaning supplies or volunteering to chaperone a field trip. There are many ways you can help make this week a truly memorable experience for all our students. If you have an item or some time for a field trip for any course - it doesn't need to be your child's - we would appreciate your help. Supplies should be brought to the Hillview Office as soon as possible, unless otherwise noted. Clearly label any items with the name of Mini-Course requesting the item. If you would like your item returned, please also label with your name and phone number.
Please see below for those Mini-Courses that need your help. The accompanying links will take you to Google forms or Sign-up Geniuses, or provide you with the email of the contact.
Explorations of Baking
One of the most popular mini-courses will again whip up sweet treats all week. Please go to this Signup Genius to provide kitchenware (baking sheets, muffin tins, spatulas, etc.) and baking ingredients.
Beautiful Inside and Out
38 girls will learn what it means to be themselves and find their inner beauty, culminating in an overnight camping trip. Go to this Signup Genius to donate food supplies or to serve as a chaperone to accompany the group to Paul Mitchell Beauty school in San Jose, Tuesday March 29. We will be there from 9:00-12:00 then head over to the Stanford Shopping Center at 12:45 for lunch and a scavenger hunt. We need one more parent to drive a car of supplies to Costanoa (in Pescadero) on Wednesday morning (the school buses don't have room for all the camping gear). One volunteer is also requested to help set up lunch at Hillview on Thursdayfor the return of the campers. For the driver and lunch set-up, contact Drucie Bellman if you can help. Otherwise, use the Signup Genius.
LIFE
Enjoy a camp-out at Sunset Beach. Mr. Kaelin's LIFE course is still looking for one male and one female chaperone, plus a few more 4 - 6 person tents. Please contact Ashley Riley if you can help.
