MPAEF Annual Campaign
|
We Are Thankful for Our District Families' Support
Final Campaign Tallying Continues
THANK YOU to all of the District families who donated or pledged during the 2014-15 MPAEF annual parent campaign! Thanks, too, for helping our district community celebrate on "Are You IN?" Day -- it was wonderful seeing the activities across all four school campuses that brought to life our collective commitment to creating extraordinary education for our children. We continue to tally up all the donations, pledges and stock transfers that came in this past week -- thank you! When we return from Thanksgiving, we will announce our final participation number and dollars raised. We will also then announce whether as a district we were able to unlock the $80,000 challenge gift. For those of you who have not committed your support -- it's not too late! Click here to do so.This Thanksgiving, please know how grateful our students, teachers, and community are for your financial support. With appreciation,Calla Griffith & Kristin Seuell, Co-PresidentsMenlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation

Volunteer for Turkey Trot
|
Calling all turkeys! It's that time again to get our kids off campus and working up their Thanksgiving appetite at this year's Hillview Turkey Trot! All Hillview 7th and 8th graders have the option of participating in this annual event on Monday, November 24 but we need your support! During their PE class that day, students will be completing a 1-mile loop from Hillview through the neighborhood and back to school for a triumphant lap on the track. With so many students running in so many directions at different times, we're looking for volunteers to help in a variety of ways. Please consider signing up to help in your child's class or note a certain time when you are available. We would love volunteers who are also able to stay for multiple class periods. Volunteers will be asked to report 15 minutes prior to each period to get instructions on what to do at their station. This will be a quick, exciting activity for the kids! We welcome all volunteers - if you can help with pre-race prep, one class period or more - let's make this a fun and memorable event! Sign up here to help out or contact volunteer@hillviewpto.org if you have any questions.
