Hi Runners and Walkers,

 

We're looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday, June 2 for the Are You In RUN for education! You can still register in person at Fleet Feet Sports, 859 Santa Cruz, Menlo Park, on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Below are some details to help the day go as smoothly as possible for everyone.

 

General Information

  • arrive at Oak Knoll by 8:30 a.m. to warm up - the race starts promptly at 9 a.m. at Oak Knoll School.
  • NO dogs or bikes allowed on course
  • strollers welcome
  • wellness fair and awards will happen on the playground at 9:45 a.m.
  • wear sunscreen
  • there are two water stations on the course
  • bring money for Jamba Juice truck ($2 smoothies) and other food trucks
  • warm up at 8:30 a.m. in the Oak Knoll parking lot
  • walkers need to be aware of runners coming from behind - please stay to the left - runners to the right
  • CHIP TIMING - there will be a small white foam strip on the back of your race bib. Please do not remove it, fold it or squish it; below it is the actual timing chip. Please wear your bib on the front of your shirt at waist height and be sure it is visible as you cross the start line electronic pad.
  • raise your arms in the celebration as you cross the finish line :)
  • DON'T forget your bib - no bib, no time!

Registration & bib/t-shirt pick-up

  • packet (bib/t-shirt) pick-up will be at Fleet Feet Sports, 859 Santa Cruz, Menlo Park, on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • registration is in-person only now - you may register at Fleet Feet Sports during packet pick-up on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. or on race day at Oak Knoll School 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.
  • race t-shirt availability are NOT guaranteed on race day
  • get 10 percent off your purchases at Fleet Feet Sports during registration times, if you show your bib during checkout!

Parking

  • ride bikes or walk to school on race day if possible
  • bike corrals available at Oak Knoll
  • NO parking in school parking lot on race day
  • limited parking on streets around school on race day
  • if you drive, please park at Hillview - there will be a shuttle bus going back and forth from Hillview to Oak Knoll from 7:45 - 8:45 a.m. and resuming after the race from 10 - 11 a.m.

We are in need of more volunteers to make this race possible. If you can help as a course monitor on race day, please contact Domonique Matthews. This event is not possible without the help of many, many volunteers.
