Women in Armor

Somewhere between stories of damsels-in-distress and myths of man-killing amazons lies the historical reality of women and warfare. Discover such luminaries as Boudicca, Joan of Arc and Elizabeth I of England as well as the everyday women of Ancient Times and the Viking Age.
