Ancient Identities

Gladiator Helmet Exhibit Opening Celebration
November 23rd - 25th

This new permanent exhibit explores the ancient civilizations that developed around the Mediterranean basin beginning in 2000 B.C.E.

Authentic weapons of war and tools of everyday living illustrate the early, difficult days of our culture. Starting 4,000 years ago and leading up to the first century of our modern calendar, these were the days of the god-king Pharaohs, of warrior elites who fought for the immortality of fame, and emperors who oversaw a state religion that spanned the known world.

Join us opening weekend, November 23rd - 25th, to celebrate some of these rarely and never before seen objects.  See full schedule of events.
