New Citizenship Center
 
A new St. Petersburg location of UMCM's Citizenship program opened to the public in April.  Citizenship Student
 
The new Citizenship Center combines English literacy, citizenship prep courses, and legal assistance to assist the students in fulfilling their American dream.
 
All of which are available at no cost!
Classes and Legal Services

 

Legal residents seeking citizenship can access classes on:
  • Civics and U.S. History
  • English for Citizenship
  • Interview Practice and Techniques
  • Citizenship Preparation
Plus, UMCM offers free Eligibility Screening and N400 Preparation in partnership with Gulfcoast Legal Services.

How You Can Get Involved
 
Tutoring in Citizenship
Volunteers are always needed to help tutor one-on-one, host the Center outside of classroom hours, and assist with
class groups.

Gulf Coast Legal Services helps immigrants apply for fee waivers, saving applicants up to $680.
