We are proud of the DHS NJROTC Cadets!

The NJROTC cadets have been receiving honors higher than ever before
in the following Area 12 competitions:

Brain Brawl - Hillgrove HS, Cobb County
Last January we took 3rd place in this competition and advanced to the Championships!
Brain Brawl Championships - Bishop Kenny HS, Jacksonville, FL
We competed against the best teams in Area 12 and ranked #16 out of 57 teams in this four-person team competition. It was a very worthwhile experience and  provided us with some ideas to be even more competitive next year.
Gwinnett County JROTC Drill Meet - Parkview High School
We finished 1st in Color Guard, Unarmed Basic, and Athletics, and 3rd in Personnel Inspection and Armed Drill. In addition to us, Peachtree Ridge, Parkview, Norcross, North Gwinnett, Shiloh, and Collins Hill also attended. We tied with Collins Hill for 1st place and will host the event next year.
Wildcard Drill Meet - Camden County HS - Kingsland, GA
The cadets did very well in this competition last month, finishing 2nd in the Personnel Inspection, 3rd in Academics, 2nd in Athletics, 4th in Color Guard, and 4th in Armed Basic Drill for a 7th place finish. Earning 5,185 points, we were only 185 points out of 3rd place in a very competitive meet.
