DHS Winter Guard Open Auditions!

 

What Is It?

Winter Guard is the sport of indoor color guard. Modern color guard is a combination of the use of flags, sabers, mock rifles, and other equipment, as well as dance and other interpretive movement.

 

Dance/Choreography/Music

 

When?

Two "Spin Days:"

Tuesday, November 18th

AND

Thursday, November 20th

3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

In the DHS Band Room

*These days are required. You will learn the audition material on these two days.*

 

AUDITIONS:

Tuesday, December 2nd

AND

Thursday, December 4th

3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

In the DHS Band Room

*Both audition days are required.*

 

Other Information:

Please wear dance attire to both the Spin Days and Auditions (Black skin-tight clothing. Hair in a bun or braided ponytail. No jeans!)
