School Council 

  

Parents: Would you or someone you know like to be part of our local school council. The council provides advice and recommendations to the school principal and, where appropriate, to the local board of education and local school superintendent on any matter related to student achievement and school improvement. Council members serve for a term of 2 years and school council holds 4 meetings within the school year. We are looking for three parents and/or businesspersons to become members.

To nominate yourself or someone, please fill out the application form and return to the main office by Thursday, May 29th. Voting will take place on May 30th. A form may be picked up in the main office or accessed at the following link:

All Seniors' cells phones will be taken and will not be returned until Tuesday, May 27th - at the school.

Work Based Learning Program
   

Career and Technical Education is now accepting applications for Work Based Learning. This elective course is available for rising juniors and seniors who desire to work and earn high school credit with the added bonus of leaving school early. See Mrs. Cown in room 211 for an application.

With a selection index score of 201 or above, these high performers have shown outstanding academic potential. Of some 1.5 million program entrants, each of these students is among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants who will be recognized in the fall of their senior year. Great job!
