DHS Soccer on a Roll
 
Both varsity DHS soccer teams made it to the Region 7AAAAA playoffs.
The Boys finished second in the region and will be playing at home Tuesday, April 29 @ 7:30 pm vs Wheeler.
The Lady Cats placed third in the region and will be playing at Lassiter April 30
@ 6:30 pm.

The Duluth HS Technology Student Association placed 1st in the state defeating both 2nd place GSMST and 3rd place Columbus High. The TSA's score  qualified the team for the National Competition in Washington DC this summer! Coach Jonathan Roy's team members were:

TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science) is an annual competition for middle and high school students designed to help them discover their potential for engineering.

During the one-day competition, students apply physics, statistics, calculus and engineering in practical, creative ways to solve real-world engineering challenges.

The 2014 TEAMS competition, "Engineering Tomorrow's Cities," focused on how we could restore & improve urban infrastructure." Students had to address engineering challenges in areas such as transportation, green space, and fresh water supply.

 

 

 Congratulations to DHS Latin Students

  

Ms. Patrick's Latin students  attended the Georgia Junior Classical League state convention over Spring Break and results are in! Rachel Ash, Parkview Latin teacher, and Ms. Patrick took 34 Parkview and Duluth students to the state convention to compete in a variety of events against 900 other Latin students from all over the state. The DHS and PHS students competed in the Chariot Races and Roman Processional Parade together. "We are very proud of the way they conducted themselves and represented Duluth and Parkview High Schools, says Ms. Patrick.

March 30th Duluth's Got Talent selected 3 winners each from Duluth Middle & Duluth High.

Duluth's Got Talent is an annual  fundraiser for the Duluth Cluster Schools Foundation.
