Financial Aid Reminder:

The 2015-16 FAFSA is now available for students to complete here. Graduate students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA before the priority filing deadline of March 1, 2015. Completing the FAFSA by the deadline ensures that you are considered for limited funds such as the Perkins Loan and the Nursing Student Loan. You do not have to have completed your taxes before filing the FAFSA. If you will not complete your taxes before March 1st, you can still file your FAFSA based on an estimate using your tax return from last year or your W2s. You can then go back later to update the FAFSA once your taxes have been filed.

New Year... New Apartment Hunt!

It's the beginning of a new year and the start of apartment hunting for September. While apartments will be available through the spring, it's a good idea to get a head start on your search and consider these tips:
1. Attend an Apartment 101 Workshop: review the rules of renting, what to ask when looking at apartments and what to know about your lease agreement.

2. Meet realtors and property managers at the annual Apartment Fair on February 4 from 4-7pm in the Curry Student Center. See local listings, set up appointments to view apartments, and get advice from your expert Community Ambassadors.

3. Use the NU Apartment Database where you can search by price range, neighborhood and even find roommates or sublets!
