The ISSI 2014 Carnevale celebration is in full swing with a number of events and activities.  Some of the major events are listed in the Upcoming Events section below.  For a full schedule and additional information, see the Carnevale website.  

 

Interfaith Harmony Week continues through Thursday, February 13.  On Wednesday, February 12 the Campuswide Day of Dialogue and Interfaith Fair will take place in the Curry Student Center Indoor Quad from noon - 5 pm.  

 

Due to the snow last week, the Annual Apartment Fair has been rescheduled to this Thursday, February 13 from 4-7 pm in the Curry Student Center, Indoor Quad.  The event will bring dozens of realty and management companies to advertise their properties. If you are considering moving, stop by the fair.  FREE food, prizes and giveaways as well!  Additional information on the website.

Did You Know?

Tax Season - Whether we're ready or not, tax season is upon us. While you're preparing yourself with gathering all of the forms that go along with doing your taxes and deciding what to spend your refund on, be sure to have all the correct information.  Student Accounts has mailed out a 1098-T form to all students required to receive the form. The form is also available through myNEU.  For additional information about the 1098-T, consult the Student Accounts webpage

 

International students should also consult the ISSI tax webpage for information and assistance.

The GSG is excited to announce that we have a new Vice President of Programs and Administration, Mitasvil Patel! We look forward to having him on our Executive Board and look forward to events for

graduate students!

Charlotte's Inaugural EdD Cohort - At the end of January the Charlotte campus held the first weekend intensive for the Doctor of Education program! Charlotte's inaugural EdD cohort is comprised of 
18 dynamic, future agents of change from a multitude of backgrounds!  As one of the first doctoral level programs for the Charlotte campus, we are proud to welcome students pursuing  tracks in Organizational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, and Curriculum, Teaching and Leadership! The all female cohort features educators, accountants and business owners all looking to impact their community through education. The cohort will return to campus later this month for their second weekend intensive. 

Northeastern University- Seattle got out and celebrated Superbowl
Champs the Seattle Seahawks! NU- Seattle was overjoyed with their team's first ever Superbowl win and took the time to get out, in the cold, and celebrate with over 700,000 other fans in the streets of Seattle. Haiti Week: Cultural Show

ARIA DI COMMEDIA

"Aria di Commedia - An Evening of Commedia dell'Arte and Italian Renaissance Music" is presented by the troupe "Pazzi Lazzi". Actors will interpret characters like Arlecchino, Pantalone, Pulcinella, and Colombina with their troubles resulting from human weaknesses like envy, lust, and greed.
