Through November 15, graduate students are eligible to purchase discounted passes for the MBTA bus, subway commuter rail or boats. These special, semester length passes offer up to an 11% discount. Second, the International Student Scholar Institute (ISSI) hosts a two month long cultural celebration in February and March. Planning for these events is underway. Call for Graduate Senators!
The Graduate Student Government (GSG) is looking for senators! Come represent the interests of your college and fellow graduate students! We have a particular need for Senators from the College of Art, Media & Design and the College of Computer and Information Science.
As a GSG Senator, you will be able to have an official vote on GSG business. You will be asked to represent your college and attend our bi-weekly meetings (scheduled for Wednesdays at noon). Senators serve on committees to advocate for other graduate students.
If you're interested in getting involved as a senator, please visit our website and see the "join us" tab.
The next GSG Senate Meeting is Wednesday, November 13th, 12-1pm in Curry Student Center 348. Come learn about what the GSG is doing for graduate student life and suggest ideas! Lunch will be provided! |

Seattle is proud to be celebrating the launch of the Master of Science in Biotechnology degree program. The MS in Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary degree offered through a collaboration of Northeastern's College of Science and Bouvé College of Health Sciences, combining advanced training in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, and pharmaceutical science with the development of high-value business skills critical to success in the today's dynamic workplace.
Graduate students taking classes at Northeastern University-Charlotte are working professionals with five to ten years work experience. Our experiential learning model gives ambitious professionals a high quality education without sacrificing a career, personal life, volunteer or family commitments. Whether taking courses online or in hybrid format from our 18 graduate degrees Charlotte students come from various fields and backgrounds. While located miles from Boston, the Charlotte campus observes many of the same traditions, such as the painting of the campus husky. For our second anniversary we invited Charlotte alumna Joanna Schimizzi to be the first to put her "paws on Paws." As a recent graduate of the Master of Education and local teacher, she has left her mark on Northeastern University and Charlotte. |
