Charter Day 2016
|
The 2016 Charter Day Ceremony will take place on Friday, February 5, at William & Mary Hall.
Celebrating 323 years since the birth of William & Mary by Royal Charter, Charter Day festivities involve students, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as the local community.
Ellen Stofan '83, NASA's chief scientist, will speak at the 2016 William & Mary Charter Day ceremony, scheduled for Feb. 5 at 4 p.m. "Ellen is among William & Mary's most distinguished alumnae, and we look forward to honoring her at Charter Day," said President Taylor Reveley.
Other highlights of the weekend include the often sold out AEF Lord Botetourt Auction on Friday, a show by comedian Bo Burnham, and the Alumni Medallion Ceremony on Saturday morning.
