Dear Class of 2019 Families,

Your student has reached the end of their first semester here at William & Mary! The last day of classes is on the 4th of December. Final exams will begin on December 7th and conclude on December 16th. During the Winter Break that follows, we hope you will have the opportunity to spend some quality time with your William & Mary student.

Have a Happy & Healthy New Year!

W&M Student Accounts Important Information
Spring 2016 semester eStatements will be available on December 11th. Check with your student to be sure you are set up as an Authorized User in eServices. You can receive eStatement notifications, access to view and pay, and enroll in the monthly Tuition Payment Plan

Spring 2016 tuition will be due on January 4th. Payments can be made in several ways. Restrictive holds will be placed on all W&M Student Accounts that are not paid or covered by financial aid, scholarships, or the Tuition Payment Plan on January 5th.

Expecting financial aid refund? Direct deposit refunds are sent electronically to the student's bank account.
Room Deposits, Living in CW, and Semester Break Closing
Room reservation deposits for 2016/2017 are now being accepted. Students must pay the deposit by the deadline to participate in room selection.

Did you know that W&M has a dorm named one of the "coolest" in the US? Check out the Colonial Williamsburg House! This is, by far, one of the most unique living experiences students can have at W&M.

It is never too soon to plan for Semester Break closing. Residence Halls close on 12/17 at 10:00am.
Spring 2016 Insurance Waiver Requests
Why pay for insurance you don't need? If your student is a new or transfer student this spring or a continuing student who didn't file a 2015-2016 insurance waiver in the fall, you need to file a Spring 2016 Insurance Waiver Request by 1/10/16. For more information, visit the Student Health Insurance website.
Time to Get Career Ready!
We are launching the Career Readiness Punchcard which will be mailed home in January before students return to campus. The National Association of Colleges and Employers defines career readiness as the attainment and demonstration of requisite competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition into the workplace. For more information on NACE career competencies visit their Knowledge Center.
