Dear Junior Families,
The official start of the academic year was marked with the newest members of the Tribe walking through the Wren Building at Convocation last week. The new school year offers exciting opportunities for students and families that are showcased in this month's newsletter. As we all transition from summer break to fall semester, remember that Family Weekend is a great chance to stay connected with our students and their wonderful school. This year we will be hosting a reception for Class of 2017 families during Family Weekend. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26 at 9am, more details on the exact location will be available on the website in the next few weeks. Be sure to register for Family Weekend by Monday, September 7th!
Sincerely,
Meg & Peter Carlsen P'17

On Wednesday, August 26th, the College of William & Mary welcomed another stellar group of new students! Between residence hall move-in, the learning opportunities embedded within New Student Orientation, and the tradition of Opening Convocation, we hope that the Class of 2019 and our newest transfer, exchange, and St Andrews Joint Degree Programme students have truly experienced the W&M feeling of One Tribe, One Family.
