Dear Parents/Guardians:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION Below please find a letter and permission form that is going home with each of your daughters today. The letter is in reference to our safety training next Friday, August 26th. Please, I need you all to read the letter and sign and return the permission form. If you have any questions, please call Jim Johnson at ext. 1105.

Opening School Liturgy:
Our first school liturgy will be on Friday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. Father Oscar Vasquez, S.M. from Chaminade High School will be our celebrant, and Kyle Huelsing from St. Joseph's Cottleville Parish will be our music minister. During the Mass, Board President, Dr. Karen Luebbert, will commission our new Interim President, Sr. Mary Pezold, CCVI. Father Oscar will then bless our new faculty and staff members, bless our new Liturgy Ushers, and will commission our new Eucharistic Ministers. You are most welcome to join us for this liturgy.
Service Opportunities: Volunteers are needed to help with the tournament games to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The event is being held at Trinity High School on Saturday, August 27. Volunteers are needed for the 12:30-5:00 shift. Please contact Ms. Pitti if interested in helping.
Volunteers are needed to help at the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Stores. Information is posted on the Campus Ministry Bulletin Board or contact Ms. Pitti.

Here we GO!!!
Our Tennis and Volleyball teams have their first matches tomorrow night at IWA. Tennis has JV & Varsity starting at 4:00 against St. Dominc. Volleyball begins with FR at 4:15, JV at 5:15, & Varsity at 6:15. Come cheer on the Red Knights!
Congratulations to our Cheerleaders who placed 4th at Regionals and have qualified for State!
A Special Thanks to all who attended our Fall Sports Booster Dinner and Parent Meeting on Monday. It was a great kick-off to the season, and the energy in the room was outstanding. We are thrilled with the number who signed up for boosters! If you are interested in supporting the boosters and getting the special gear that comes with sponsor levels, please download this form and send it into the General Office or have your daughter bring it to my office (Room 203) in the Theater Building.

If any student needs a Medication Permission form for taking prescription medication at school, please contact Mrs. Charlene Pisciotta at: cpisciotta@iwacademy.org or call 314-725-5850, ext. 1101. Remember, no prescription medicine can carried by a student unless we have a note from the parent and the doctor giving written permission.
