Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District

The Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District is a County organization, established by State law, responsible for ensuring that the County achieves State mandated goals for recycling and waste reduction. The District achieves these goals through the implementation of waste reduction Programs targeted to residents, communities, businesses, and schools.

This year the District is launching 3 major recycling and compost programs that are free to all Hamilton County, Ohio residents. The first program which began March 23rd and will continue until November 24th, allows residents to drop off their yard trimmings to be composted at 3 different locations.  The second program which began on April 20th and will continue through November 2nd, allows residents to drop-off household hazardous waste to encourage proper disposal of these items.  Finally, beginning May 4th and continuing through October 26th, residents can bring any and all computer and TV items to be recycled.  Don't miss these great FREE programs!
