SPOTLIGHT ON
CTG is working with the Transition Authority (TA) of Kenya to build information sharing capabilities for government-wide assets and liabilities management. As part of this effort, CTG Director Theresa Pardo and Program Director Donna Canestraro are spending the week of January 20th in Kenya to conduct a two-day workshop and develop a set of recommendations for the TA.

VISITING SCHOLARS

Cristiano Ramos Moreira and Jorge Lheureux de Freitas, both Master Students at the School of Business, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, are spending time at CTG as part of our Visiting Scholars Program to enhance their studies and contribute to CTG's research. They are both specifically interested CTG's smart cities service integration project.

This scholar will have a research home at CTG.

Information, Government and Democratic Society - Faculty
The Informatics Department of the College of Computing and Information, University at Albany seeks candidates for an open rank, tenure-track faculty position with a focus on role, use, influence, and consequences of information and information communication technologies (ICTs) in government and democratic society beginning fall 2014. This scholar will also be part of the CTG research team.

Director, Enterprise Infrastructure Services
The Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) reports directly to the CIO and is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of the University at Albany's IT infrastructure services. The scope of responsibility includes enterprise-level computing, server and storage services; telecommunication (voice and data) services, Data Center services, and related activities.
