Camp Rotary Rededication
Saturday, May 9, 2015, 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
Camp Rotary
Gammage Rd on Cowikee Creek
Eufaula, AL
Camp Rotary, established in 1927, was the original Scout camp serving southeast Alabama. Located on Gammage Road, north of Eufaula on Cowikee Creek, the camp served both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts until the construction of Lake Eufaula resulted in the discontinuation of camp operations in 1957.

The Alabama-Florida Boy Scout Council is pleased to announce plans to revitalize Camp Rotary as a short term camp with an emphasis on kayaking, canoeing and other water related activities.

The kickoff of this effort will be a rededication of the camp on Saturday, May 9th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The cost is $10.00 per person which includes a Camp Rotary 2015 "Attendee" patch. (Attendees only receive this patch.)

Scouters can also support the camp by joining the 'Friends of Camp Rotary'.  Membership begins at $25 and includes a patch limited to the first 100 members.

Register for the event or become a member of the 'Friends of Camp Rotary' by calling the council service center at 334.793.7882 or completing the registation form available at www.bsa3.org in the News section.
