Family FOS

Who pays for Scouting? As parents and volunteers, we all know the answer to this question: We Do, along with our Scout sons. This is by design. A Scout who helps pay for his Scouting adventure, learns the very important value of self-reliance and 'paying his own way in life'.
To help keep the cost of Scouting affordable for all boys, our Scout Council provides many services including Camp Alaflo Maintenance, Program Equipment and Supplies, Again this year, we will conduct the Family Friends of Scouting Campaign to raise the funds needed to provide maintenance at Camp Alaflo.
Please schedule your pack/troop presentation ASAP by contacting the Council Service Center at 334.793.7882.

Arrow of Light and Crossover
| News!
|
As a key component of our youth retention plan, we strongly encourage all 5th grade Webelos to cross over to a Boy Scout Troop at their Blue & Gold banquet in February. This ensures the new Scout has time to become well-adjusted in the troop before attending Boy Scout summer camp.
To help encourage the crossover, all boys who earn their Arrow of Light are invited to attend the Council Recognition Banquet on Friday, February 27. More information is available at the Council Roundtable January 22.
