Dear Colleagues,
The energy of the campus has revved up with the start of the new academic year. Welcome back as we start AY15-16! This year brings us not only the excitement of new and returning students, but also new faculty, new academic programs, new initiatives and enhanced support systems for faculty, students and staff.
We look forward to sharing progress and accomplishments of the academic division as all of us work to position Pacific for an even brighter future. To maximize opportunities for communications, the Academic Administration will:
- Publish newsletters twice monthly on the first and third Mondays
- Provide an annual reflections and forward look on accomplishments and initiatives around its principles
- Hold a monthly topical open conversation with the Provost and senior academic administration starting Thursday, September 17, 12:00-1:00 p.m., in the Vereschagin Alumni House. These will be held during Pacific Hour on the third Thursday of the month during the academic year, locations to be announced.
If you have ideas for other communication strategies, please email to [email protected].
A heartfelt thank you to all who are so very committed to making Pacific the place to be.
Warm wishes,
Maria Pallavicini
Provost
