Happy Holidays, BASIS Families! What a great time of the year, right? Students and parents now have the chance to send students, teachers, and staff candy grams! The candy grams can be personalized, providing a lovely surprise for friends and teachers, all while supporting the school! They will be given out on Thursday before winter break, December 17th, and will be available for purchase during lunches from December 7th-11th at 2 for $1. Give some, receive some! Have a great rest of the year!

Our school's Spanish Honors Society, Sin Fronteras, is hosting a drive for school supplies for CAM La Montaña, a school for children with special needs in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico (Rocky Point). All supplies are due by December 15th, and we would sincerely appreciate anything you
can donate. All items can be dropped at the Front Desk with Sra. Montes.

Crayons
Coloring Books
Flashcards
Watercolors (single kits with brush included)

December 15 - Lost Dog Loop, 8:35 am: Lost Dog trailhead.
This is an easy 4.4-mile loop with 375 ft elevation gain. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
December 17 - Gateway Loop, 7:45 am: Meet at Gateway trailhead
This is an easy-to-moderate, 4.7-mile loop with 670 ft. elevation gain.

Remember to have your student show school pride by wearing a BASIS shirt on Fridays for "Spirit Friday."   On some Fridays, Boosters provides a special treat for students wearing any BASIS t-shirt.  The student must wear any BASIS shirt to receive a treat.
