Saturday, November 14th, 6:00-9:15 pm (Doors open 5:45 pm)
Playhouse in the Park
General admission tickets now available on SMART for Charter: $7 per person (includes both plays) The Upper School morning and afternoon Drama electives are thrilled to present an evening of two contrasting one-act plays, Dracula Diverted and Macbeth. There will be a 15 minute intermission between plays. DRACULA DIVERTED"A classic never dies."The morning elective arose around 5:30 each school morning to create a dark musical comedy based on Bram Stoker's villainous vampire, Count Dracula. The class wanted to explore how Count Dracula would view contemporary values. What would he embrace? What would he regret? Most importantly, would we even care about a blood thirsty vampire trying to achieve the American dream? Starring: David Woods as Dracula Annika Jackson Caleb King Fajr Ahmad Joanna Carvallo Joe Zyadeh Korina Bailey Luke Armistead Natalya Stanisic Nichole Kyprianou Nithin Kannan Noelle Miceli Samuel Ennis Shira Hamer Sophia Mueller Zander Hill MACBETH by William Shakespeare"Something wicked this way comes!"The afternoon Upper School Drama class continues to be devoted to dark and haunting stories. They selected Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth for the complex characters, incredible visuals, and supernatural elements. Macbeth is the intense tale of crooked power in a kingdom dominated by ambition and equality. Some material may not be suited for children under 13. Starring: Vanessa Jones as Macbeth Alexis Kunzelman Ananth Udupa Anil Patel Aria Narang Austin Watson Brian Xi Gabriela Wodka Grace Lossman Hannah Vange Joseph Peles Lauren Rasmussen Madison Beck Nathaniel Swift Noor Lababidi Spencer Claus Tara Malakian Tara Shayegan Vaibhavi Mohan Ziba Toghyani 7th GRADE DRAMA PRESENTS
