BASIS SCOTTSDALE BOOSTERS PRESIDENT

Dear BASIS Scottsdale Boosters Community,
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your 2014-15 Boosters President. I have enjoyed meeting the families and students that make up our amazing community, as well as working with the school administration, teachers, staff and parent volunteers. I thank you for your support of the Boosters' efforts over the past year, and I hope you will continue to support the Boosters in the coming year. Congratulations to the new 2015-16 Boosters Board and thanks for stepping up to serve our school community!
Finally, I could never forget to thank my fellow 2014-15 board members and partners, Julie Fishbach (Vice-president) and Anna Courtney (Treasurer/Secretary). Without them, none of this year's accomplishments could have been achieved (and it wouldn't have been the fun adventure that it was). It was truly a team effort, and I had the great fortune of having a fabulous pair of teammates!

SHE'S THE FIRST CLUB
BASIS (NOT A BEAUTY) PAGEANT
|
|
Saturday, March 21st
12:00-2:00 pm
In Lower School Cafeteria
The She's the First club is hosting the first BASIS (Not a Beauty) Pageant on Saturday, March 21st from 12 to 2 pm. Through a fun and unique competition that breaks the stereotypes of typical beauty pageants, contestants from 8th-12th grade will have the opportunity to compete for the title of the Best Person at BASIS, as well as win awesome prizes! The pageant will consist of a spin-off of Simon Says, a tribute to an inspirational figure, a talent section, and a question and answer round. She's the First is a nonprofit organization that sponsors girls' education in low-income countries, empowering them to be the first in their families to receive an education.
